Meteorological research

The weather business involves not only forecasting the weather but also developing sophisticated weather tools to be used by the experienced forecaster to produce tailor-made products. MeteoGroup has its own specialist Meteorological Research and Development Department (MRD) dedicated to developing just such tools and to exploring new technologies ensuring that the business remains at the cutting edge of meteorology. The MRD team, made-up of experienced academic researchers and based at our Dutch headquarters in the Netherlands, can also be commissioned to take on research and consultancy projects.
